LANGUID CURVES

In this sculpture series, I try to capture the essence of organic form through curvaceous, flowing shapes that evoke the natural beauty of the human body, particularly the gesture reminiscent of the feminine silhouette. These ceramic works, with their soft and luscious yet dynamic contours, echo the fluidity and strength inherent in nature from whence they come. Drawing parallels between the curves of the erosions in the earth and the curves of the human form, each sculpture stands as a testament to the harmony between form and function. The varied glazes and firing methods create a surface effect so tempting to the viewer, almost begging for the human’s touch, openly offering a tactile experience.
